EasySpray Nozzle is a patented add-on for a foam gun to spray foam over a wide area. It allows for insulating uneven or hard-to-reach surfaces where traditional insulation materials cannot be used. Spray width can be adjusted proportionately to spray distance – the further away from the surface the nozzle is held – the wider area is covered.
EasySpray Nozzle comes in a convenient package alongside suitable foam attached to the foam gun adapter. It can be used with most foam guns, vertically and horizontally, ensuring a high quality and uniform thickness of the insulation layer.
Ten Twelve provided the industrial design and DFM. Development of the nozzle tunnel geometry was carried out in close cooperation with the producer’s chemistry department.
An autonomous lawn mower for large terrains. Capable of covering an area of 1 hectare a day, the mower needs no boundary cables – the whole setup and tracking is done through proprietary software.
The speed and quality of the cut are ensured by a revolutionary cutting blade configuration and a systematic path choice – no double cutting and no missed patches.
For added autonomy, the robot comes with a fully automated charging station and auto-stop function for the safety of anyone in proximity.
Ten Twelve provided industrial design and mechanical engineering for the robot and charging station in close cooperation with electronics design and according to provided specifications.

Cybershoes are a high-end locomotion solution for virtual reality that lets you actually walk inside a virtual world. They are strapped to the user’s feet and used while seated on a swivel bar stool.
A set includes a pair of shoes and a dedicated wireless receiver that connects to a PC via USB. Calibration and linking to a VR rig are simple, and once set up, Cybershoes provide a full 360 degrees of rotation. Runtime on a single charge is 8-10 hours.
In addition to gaming, Cybershoes can be used for training, planning facilities, physical rehabilitation, demos of architecture and construction, etc.
Ten Twelve designed the mechanical parts of the shoes and receiver box based on initial prototypes. The mechanics BOM was optimized for cost efficiency, ease of assembly and mechanical requirements. Development was carried out in close cooperation with the electronics design.
We organized prototype production and testing of important mechanical joints to achieve optimal solutions given the 100 kg load-bearing requirement and set up the manufacturing and assembly pipeline.
Kokong is an autonomous smart socket that automatically turns off power when not needed, thereby increasing safety and savings.
Unattended charging of electrical devices may increase fire hazards due to the elevated risk of battery malfunction. Kokong monitors power consumption characteristics and switches off charging once the device has recharged or if certain patterns in current flow are detected.
In addition to monitoring charging, Kokong provides power savings and safety for most household devices and appliances, from the washroom to the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom.
Ten Twelve carried out DFMA for the mechanical parts – enclosures, light guides, custom metal components in the Schuko plug, as well as the packaging. We organized prototype production and testing of various mechanical joints and solutions to achieve optimal fulfilment of requirements.
We managed the tooling production, controlled and monitored the manufacturing, and assisted in optimizing the production process.
Smarter home, pre-set programs, comfort and energy savings!
Smallest smart socket amongst its kind that enables control of various electrical appliances and monitoring of their energy consumption. SmartSocket is easy to control over the web or using the smartphone application. Controlling and optimizing lighting or heating systems without making any changes to the existing electrical system are just a few possibilities for its use. The unique design makes it possible to attach many smart sockets into one set of outputs, which hasn’t been possible with previous products. Minimal form and buttons concealed in the casing help it to become part of the interior.
AirPatrol – an easy-to-use, wirelessly controlled clever home heating system. The system consists of our Room Unit controller, which manages the desired area. It measures air and ground temperature via infrared sensors and transmits them to the Central Unit. Extremely efficient displays and electronics make for impressively low energy use and long battery life.
Huntloc is made for following hunting dogs in the forest using GPS-GSM technology. The application runs on smartphones, and the dogs’ location can be viewed on the screen in real-time. To guarantee the best GPS-GSM signal, the device was built in two parts that fit comfortably around the dog’s neck, ensuring the antennae always face upwards. Tough working conditions are where Huntloc excels the most. The overmoulded casings are linked by a spine, are water and shock resistant and have no protruding parts that could restrict the dog’s mobility.

Ten Twelve was challenged to make a ski mounted wearable device, that is bomb-proof and easy to handle in extreme use in ice and snow.
Wearable was designed to be as extreme as the sport itself. It’s easy to handle regardless the conditions. It takes low temperatures as well as hits from slalom poles.
We assisted WALLIUS HITSAUSKONEET OY in developing the next-generation welding equipment. New solutions had to be adjustable for the maximum number of different pieces of WALLIUS equipment. We identified what the next generation of Wallius welding equipment should be like, taking into account Wallius’ unique values and their competitors’ solutions.
We developed a smart system comprising of plastic housings and aluminium profiles that enable the assembly of control panels in various sizes for various pieces of Wallius equipment. The newest generation of Wallius products is easier to produce and has a modern and reliable appearance. The details that need tool investment are usable throughout the whole product family.
Ten Twelve’s challenge was to design and develop a calibrating device for pressure measuring device that needs to be tested at 10-50mmHg in vertical and horizontal postitions. We did the industrial design and mechanical engineering for the device. The product is optimized for precise small series production, is simple to setup and straight forward to use, very robust and reliable.
Ten Twelve made the industrial design and mechanical engineering for IP65 (IP68) Fiber Optics Projector. We developed a very rugged fiber optics projector that has been tested to work in the bottom of the pool and won’t over heat in the sauna.
We developed a next generation battery cabinet for UPS equipment for our client. The battery case is a very price sensitive product, because the final customer pays for the batteries not for the case. Due to large production volumes, every kilogram is accounted for.
During the project, we searched for opportunities to shorten the maintenance period of battery cases and reduce production cost. Based on the FEA analyses of the assembly, we identified the most suitable construction solution. This enabled us to achieve the maximum bearing capacity with the least material consumption. We considered the specific technological preferences of the producer in our work.
Outcome of the project
The next generation battery case enables more convenient cable arrangement because of the channels developed for that purpose. The material consumption to bearing capacity ratio has improved significantly compared to the previous generation.
Defendec OÜ Background Ten Twelve OÜ partnered with Defendec OÜ and Estonian Border Guard Administration in creating new surveillance equipment. The product is designed for the surveillance of various strategic objects such as state borders, oil pipes, etc. Objectives The product had to fit in the surrounding environment (forest, city, rock, etc.) inconspicuously, be easily installed during the required time, weather, vandalism and theft resistant and as cost efficiently manufactured as possible. Our background investigation helped us identify possible directions for achieving the project objectives. We analysed products with similar functions offered on the market and found out which equipment and systems had been developed before for the similar target group.
The target group helped to test the functional models made for screening the initial draft plans as well as working prototypes in the actual environment where they were intended to be used.
